A company is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for the Vice President of Marketing role. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this position will drive launch and marketing strategies for novel cardiopulmonary disease therapies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical commercialization, especially in rare diseases, with proven success in product launches and promotions. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Market Access, Marketing Operations, Sales, and Medical Affairs to create a comprehensive launch plan aligned with our corporate vision for AV101's successful launch. Prioritize patient needs and brand success in our approach.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to devise marketing strategies that align with business goals and market dynamics. Focus on brand positioning, messaging, KOL engagement, and digital and traditional promotional initiatives.
  • Partner with commercial operations for market research, identifying trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Translate findings into actionable strategies for product differentiation and market share capture.
  • Develop and maintain brand identity, messaging, and positioning strategies. Ensure consistency across marketing channels.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including online ads, social media, and email campaigns. Implement multichannel strategies to engage healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and advocacy groups in cardiopulmonary disease. Use KOL insights to bolster Aerovate's brand credibility.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to regulations and company policies. Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams for ethical marketing practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, life sciences, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive pharmaceutical marketing experience, including 5 years in leadership.
  • Proven success in launching and commercializing pharmaceutical products, especially in rare diseases or specialty therapeutics.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and lead a talented marketing team aligned with our patient-centric and collaborative approach.
  • Expertise in healthcare compliance regulations and industry guidelines.
