Dr. Xuebing Wu’s lab in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Systems Biology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is looking for a technician to help with large-scale CRISPR screens in human cells. The technician will work with a graduate student and the genome engineering core to conduct multiple CRISPR screens. Prior experience with CRISPR screens and large-scale cell culture is preferred but not required. The technician will also perform other routine lab duties. Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in biology or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Requires experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology assays.
Applicant must be willing to work in the lab for a minimum of one year.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior lab experience with CRISPR screens and large-scale tissue culture preferred.
