Job Description
Looking for a proactive Supply Chain Associate to support inventory management, shipping/receiving, and procurement. The role involves ensuring smooth cycle count operations, stockroom organization, and handling the shipment/receipt of sterilized devices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the cycle count program to maintain accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized stock room for efficient storage and retrieval, and monitor stock levels for space utilization improvements.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company standards.
- Assist with purchasing inventory and non-inventory items, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained.
- Update and maintain lead times, pricing, and other relevant data in the ERP system to align procurement with company needs.
- Support the Kanban replenishment process and collaborate with the production team to adjust stock levels.
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, company policies, and training requirements.
- Take on additional responsibilities with a proactive and positive approach.
Required Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in supply chain, inventory management, or logistics, preferably in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain an efficient work environment.
- Knowledge of cycle counting, Kanban, and inventory management principles.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and procurement skills.
- Experience with shipping/receiving and in biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries is preferred.
- Prior vocational experience (Co-Ops, Internships, etc.) a plus.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to lead projects with urgency and attention to detail.
- Successful team player and collaborator in small environments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality results.
- Excellent communication skills, translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- High professionalism, confidence, and ethical standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods when handling inventory.
