Job Description

A company is seeking a detail-oriented professional for the Senior Manager/Associate Director, Publications & Scientific Communications role. Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs Operations, responsibilities include supporting abstracts, posters, oral presentations, manuscript submissions, scientific communication platform development, and congress planning. Ideal candidates will have a background in publication planning and medical communications, with medical writing experience as a plus.

Responsibilities

Publications Management: * Coordinate publication plan execution and stakeholder interactions. * Develop project timelines and maintain compliance with industry standards. * Provide direction and editing for scientific publications. * Analyze complex information and collaborate on data presentation with clinical and statistical teams.Medical Communications: * Develop a scientific communication platform. * Ensure consistency of scientific narrative and support educational materials development. * Manage Aerovate’s scientific presence at conferences.Medical Affairs Strategy: * Collaborate on strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. * Develop scientific communication plans, publication strategies, and medical education initiatives.Compliance and Regulatory Support: * Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies. * Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams on content review and approval. Cross-functional Collaboration: * Work with clinical, regulatory, market access, and commercial teams. * Align medical affairs activities with trial objectives, regulatory submissions, and commercialization plans.Service Provider and Budget Management: * Manage service providers and oversee budget forecasting and allocation. * Optimize budget utilization for medical affairs initiatives.

Required Skills

* 5+ years experience in developing publication and medical communications plans in pharma/biopharma. * Strong understanding of medical affairs, KOL engagement, and scientific communications. * Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. * Collaborates effectively with teams and stakeholders. * Knowledgeable in regulatory and industry standards for publications. * Experience with scientific publications software/systems preferred. * Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
