Job Description

Reporting to the Head of HR, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at the Medical Research Institute, headquartered in Cambridge, MA, will provide strategic HR support to senior and middle management. This role collaborates with the HR team to address inquiries, programs, and policies for staff, ensuring a positive employee experience. The HRBP works on key HR projects to enhance HR impact across the institute, focusing on maximizing team potential.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated success in client partnerships aligned with business needs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to form strong partnerships and provide feedback for a positive culture.
  • Proficient in project management and strategic/tactical responsibilities.
  • Track record of continuous improvements in operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business and HR acumen, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Comfortable leading training sessions and handling sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
