Job Description

Sci.bio seeks an inquisitive and proactive sourcing seasoned sourcing associate to research talent prospects for recruiting team members  and external clients on emerging recruitment needs. This individual will develop  proactive and innovative sourcing and research strategies and develop competitive talent pipelines. This role is responsible for performing advanced internet research through a range of venues, associations, universities, community agencies, social media, word-of-mouth referrals/networking. In addition to providing competitive research this individual will offer basic talent assessment, conveyance of the competitive landscape and articulation of suitable candidate phenotypes for open client positions. S/he will offer effective and professional communication skills in order to deliver and gather information and project a positive company image.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal recruiters and external clients to deeply understand functional requirements, key competencies, and cultural fit.

  • Execute sourcing strategies effectively and reliably, including developing personalized sourcing plans and managing the implementation of sourcing plans.

  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines using innovative methods and sourcing tools.

  • Ensure a high level of data integrity with our ATS by maintaining and updating databases and talent pools.

  • Serve as the point of contact and provide exceptional candidate experience to potential candidates, routinely updating contact information of qualified candidates, and assist in closing out unqualified candidates.

  • Demonstrate continuous improvement, in both department/category business process and systems/tools improvements as well as personal development.

  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders and hiring managers.  Report on progress and established metrics and recommend changes in approach supported by the data.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years sourcing experience within life science or biopha

  • Adept at using a variety of advanced techniques and recruiting technologies to source and engage candidates.

  • Strong analytical skills; able to analyze, interpret, extract, and present data for client fulfillment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.  

  • Strong client focus and superior customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and follow through with requirements with minimal guidance or supervision.

  • Experience working in a fast paced, collaborative environment; has a strong sense of urgency.

  • Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with an ATS and/or CRM.
