Job Description

This Scientist position requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with team members to contribute to the success of the research and development efforts in the field of nucleotide chemistry.


* Design, develop and synthesis of modified nucleotide/oligonucleotide sequences based on project requirements. * Optimize reaction conditions to enhance yield, purity, and overall efficiency. * Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the synthesis process. * Set up reactions at different scales, ranging from milligrams to 10 grams. * Use analytical techniques, such as HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) or mass spectrometry, for product characterization. * Maintain detailed and accurate lab notebooks, documenting experimental procedures, results, and observations. * Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers, chemists and biologists, to support broader scientific goals. * Communicate effectively with team members and present findings in meetings or reports.

Required Skills

* Master’s degree in organic chemistry with four years industry experience or Ph.D in organic chemistry with one year industry experience or no previous experience required. * A deep understanding and demonstrated experience in nucleic acid chemistry is a plus. * Highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize individual and group tasks. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Join the mission to develop innovative therapies and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.
