$58‒$72K/yr

The Associate I/II will be supporting drug development studies and assist existing research efforts. The successful candidate under the direction of a supervisor is responsible for data collection, analysis, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
  • Summarize experiment and data
  • Provide ready access to all experimental data for the team researcher and/or supervisor
  • Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project
  • Manage and respond to project related emails
  • Prepare progress reports for the PI and PD, QC and manufacturing
  • Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations
  • Monitor the project reagents and materials
  • RNA/DNA isolation from cells or tissues
  • Flow cytometry analysis; and
  • Perform PCR, qRT-PCR, or other basic molecular biology techniques
  • A bachelor’s degree preferably in the biological sciences (or experience in biology research)
  • Ability to work as part of a team are required and to complete experiments, analyze data and provide results to end-users in a timely fashion is required
  • 1-2 years of sterile tissue culture experience
  • Cell culture and molecular biology skills are required.
  • Experience with flow cytometry, functional assays, DNA, RNA and protein analysis is preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Required Skills
