Job Description

The Technician/Associate I/II will be supporting in vitro and vivo drug potency studies and assist existing research efforts.  The successful candidate under the direction of a supervisor is responsible for data collection, analysis, and other in vitro and in vivo related tasks.

Responsibilities

* Conduct literature reviews * Collect and analyze data * Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary * Summarize experiment and data * Provide ready access to all experimental data for the team researcher and/or supervisor * Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project * Manage and respond to project related emails * Prepare progress reports for the PI and PD, QC and manufacturing * Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations * Monitor the project reagents and materials * Tissue harvesting and submitting samples for histology * RNA/DNA isolation from cells or tissues * Flow cytometry analysis; and * Perform PCR, qRT-PCR, or other basic molecular biology techniques

Required Skills

* Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in the biological sciences (or experience in biology research) * Ability to work as part of a team and complete experiments, analyze data and provide results to end-users in a timely fashion is required * 1+ years of sterile tissue culture experience preferred * Cell culture and molecular biology skills are required * Experience with flow cytometry, functional assays, DNA, RNA and protein analysis is preferred * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills * Attention to detail * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to work in a dynamic environment * Ability to multi-task and prioritize workSalary range: $50,000-70,000K annually Benefits: Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision) Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability 401(k) Paid Time Off
