Job Description

In this position, you will lead the mRNA-LNP formulation effort to support our platform and program development. Experience in Ignite or other microfluidic instruments, mRNA-LNP QC assay is required. Experiences in novel LNP optimization for tissue specific targeting is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• mRNA-LNP formulation
• LNP QC assays
• Testing novel lipids for tissue specific targeting
• Interaction with LNP formulation partners
• Tech transfer with CDMO collaborators
• Preliminary data analysis and interpretation
• Meeting strict project deadlines on assigned projects
• Presenting data internally in different group meetings
• Assisting with other Preclinical projects as needed

Required Skills

• Ph.D./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 0 years (Scientist), 2 years (Senior scientist), 4 years (Principal Scientist) of bioanalytical experience in industry
• Extensive experience in LNP formulation and QC
• Strong written and oral communication skills, self-motivated, team-oriented and able to work independently
• Attention to detail supported by excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to approach complex problems creatively and develop innovative solutions
