Job Description

The selected individual will lead initiatives using large-scale genetic data to support target validation, enhance patient stratification approaches, and advance discovery efforts for RNA-based therapeutics. They will also contribute to shaping research strategy by applying the latest developments in statistical genetics and data analysis to inform data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale genetic association studies to support target discovery and validation
• Conduct downstream analyses (e.g., fine mapping, colocalization, Mendelian randomization) to prioritize genes and mechanisms
• Integrate genetic data with multi-omics to inform target selection and patient stratification
• Build and maintain scalable, reproducible pipelines for genetic analysis in cloud environments
• Oversee complex genetics projects, balancing strategic initiatives with rapid-turnaround needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into therapeutic direction

Required Skills

• hD in a relevant field (e.g., statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology) with 6–8 years of experience
• Strong foundation in statistical and population genetics
• Proficient with tools commonly used in genetic studies (e.g., PLINK, regenie)
• Skilled in R and Python for data analysis and pipeline development
• Experience working with large-scale research platforms (e.g., UK Biobank, All of Us)
