Epigenetic regulation in health and disease

A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Hume Stroud, Ph.D., in the Department of Neuroscience at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study epigenome regulation in brain health and disease. Our laboratory has several exciting projects at the intersection of epigenetics and neuroscience. Projects in the lab include (1) Epigenetic remodeling in development and aging, (2) environment and epigenetics, and (3) DNA methylation and disease.

Our lab is in a highly collaborative environment and has access to outstanding core facilities across campus that provide access to cutting edge technologies. Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in any area of biology leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.
