Job Description
A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Genevieve Konopka, in the Neuroscience Department at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study molecular mechanisms underlying human brain evolution and disease using cellular resolution genomics. See our recent manuscripts in Nature, Neuron, and Nature Neuroscience. Visit the Konopka Lab website, to view several exciting projects related to human brain evolution, neurodevelopmental disorders, and the NIH BRAIN Initiative Cell Atlas Network.
Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in neurogenomics, computational biology and/or computer science leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is required.
