Job Description
A postdoctoral position in RNA biology is available at the Yale Cancer Biology Institute. Our lab focuses on understanding the role of RNA modifications (a.k.a. epitranscriptomics) in normal physiology, development, and disease. To answer basic and translational questions, we take a multidisciplinary approach ranging from biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, transcriptomics, genomics, proteomics, computational biology, and in vivo models. We seek a postdoctoral fellow eager to answer fundamental questions about basic biology and cancer.
Application Requirements
Seeking a highly motivated candidate with a Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or bioinformatics. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for scientific research, ability to work independently and in teams, excellent organizational and communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.
