  • Apply biophysical techniques, including but not limited to, cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and cryoET, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopy.
  • Utilize chemical biology approaches to identify and characterize small molecules or peptides that modulate tau pathology.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of researchers to develop and test novel therapeutic approaches.
  • Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Neurobiology, or a related field, completed by the start date.
  • Demonstrated experience in protein biochemistry, structural biology, or related methodologies.
  • Experience in studying molecular and cellular mechanism of neurodegeneration is desirable but not required.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture is desirable but not required.
