Job Description

Acute pancreatitis is one of the leading causes of gastrointestinal disease-related hospital admissions. The disease is characterized by transient local inflammation of the pancreas, tissue damage resolution, and noticeable changes in the lymphatic vasculature. The Sosa-Pineda’s lab and the Oliver’s lab at Northwestern University (Chicago) have an exciting research opportunity for a dedicated scientist to investigate the role of the lymphatic vasculature in the progression and resolution of pancreatitis. We are looking for a researcher with a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, experience in cell and molecular biology, as well as working with mouse models. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a prestigious institution and conducting highly impactful research.
