Job Description
The Corbin lab in the Center for Neuroscience Research (CNR) at Children’s National in Washington DC is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to study the embryonic and adolescent development and function of the amygdala (e.gs. Prakash et al., Journal of Comparative Neurology, 2023; Alderman et al., Neuron, in press; bioRxiv 2022.09.23.509244). Experience with either modern neuro-developmental approaches (e.gs., in utero electroporation, CRISPR mutagenesis, RNAseq) or functional dissection of circuitry (e.gs., viral and optogenetic circuit tracing, in vivo recording, in vivo behavioral manipulation) are a strongly preferred. The position is open to US citizens and non-citizens, but candidates holding US citizenship or a green card will be eligible to be hired as an NIH T32 post-doctoral fellow.
