Job Description
A research technician position is available in the laboratory of CJ Tsai at the University of Georgia. The individual will join the poplar functional genomics research team to investigate molecular regulation of various agronomy traits. Primary duties include molecular cloning, Agrobacterium-mediated transformation, plant regeneration and propagation, and transgenic plant genotyping. The individual will also assist with other molecular analyses, tissue sampling and processing, data entry, equipment maintenance, and other lab chores. This individual is also expected to assist senior lab personnel with preparation of research progress report and other lab reports when appropriate.
