Job Description
A position as a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering is available at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), under the mentorship of Dr. [Please click the Apply button for the link or email]. The student will work in the beautiful Old Westbury campus of NYIT, right outside New York City.
Ph.D. students will address specific problems within the areas of mathematical modeling of different types of systems (see examples of available projects [Please click the Apply button for the link or email]). Ph.D. student candidates are expected to have a solid research experience in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics and have a B.Sc. or equivalent degree in one of these disciplines.
Compensation includes full tuition coverage and a competitive stipend. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a curriculum vitae, a list of three references, and a cover letter including a description of prior research experience by email to Dr. Boldini.
