We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join the Osmanbeyoglu Lab, a computational omics lab at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence and single-cell genomics to advance precision medicine.
These fully NIH-funded positions offer a unique opportunity to work at the interface of machine learning, single-cell multi-omics, and systems biology—developing and applying novel computational methods in collaboration with leading biologists and clinicians.
We are currently hiring for two postdoctoral roles:
- Method Development Focus – Ideal for candidates with a strong AI/ML background interested in creating interpretable deep learning models for multi-omics data integration.
- Application & Discovery Focus – For those passionate about using computational tools to uncover cell-context-specific regulatory mechanisms and therapeutic targets in complex diseases.
Both positions involve:
- Tackling clinically meaningful questions
- Interpreting complex single-cell and spatial transcriptomics datasets
- Publishing in high-impact journals and presenting at top-tier conferences
This is an exceptional opportunity for machine learning scientists looking to gain domain-specific expertise in computational biology.
