Summary
This person will be on the MSAT team and help train and develop new manufacturing personnel who have limited to no experience in GMP facilities

Responsibilities

  •  Assist in the development and delivery of comprehensive training sessions on GMP cell culture manufacturing, cell counting, and aseptic techniques/processes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs, ensuring all materials and methods align with current regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and coach manufacturing personnel, fostering an environment of ongoing professional growth, skill development, and adherence to GMP guidelines.
  • Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manufacturing batch records, and other technical documents to support effective training and compliant operations.
  • As a process expert, may conduct interviews, root cause analysis, and impact analyses to support Deviations, Corrective and Preventative Actions, and Change Controls.
  • Organize and maintain the training lab, including stocking necessary supplies, setting up equipment, and preparing materials.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Quality Assurance and Manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of training with operational workflows.

Required Skills

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years in a GMP environment, with a focus on cell culture manufacturing or related processes.
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, cell counting, and GMP production methods.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in training materials, records, and documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to evolving needs in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficiency in common documentation and database systems, as well as basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with cleanroom operations and gowning procedures.
    • Familiarity with cell therapy manufacturing processes

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually
