The Villalta lab at the University of California Irvine (UCI) is looking for a molecular biologist with avid cloning experience. We are seeking an individual who is passionate, works well in teams, a self-starter, can independently trouble shoot, and has an exemplary track record of academic performance.
Competitive candidates should have experience working with retro/lentiviral vectors, generating single chain variable fragment from established hybridomas and/or electroporation of primary cells. We will consider candidates experienced in generating cell lines that overexpress proteins of interest and/or in vivo and in vitro immunological assays.
