Job Description
Responsibilities
– Share project leadership accountability with counterparts and create a strategic road map
to drive project advancement to decision-making
– Administer day-to-day activities, including facilitating cross-functional team meetings,
leading discussions to drive decision-making, preparing agenda and meeting minutes,
defining, and resolving actions items.
– Manage external interface with partner electronic data rooms
– Effectively communicate project status, key risks, bottle necks, and mitigation strategies
– Prepare project status updates and presentations for appropriate governance bodies
– Serve as the central point of contact for the assigned projects for the duration of
the relationship
– Develop deep understanding of the contractual framework of the partnering engagement
and the implications
– Act as the liaison for multiple departments such as Legal/IP, Finance, Operations, and
R&D
– Ensure internal alignment between VYGR members and support effective decision
making by the appropriate governance bodies
Required Skills
– BS in related discipline with 8+ years of industry experiences in relevant fields, or MS
with 6+ years, or, Ph.D or MBA with 4+ years
– Minimum of two years in alliance management, program management, or relationship
management in Corporate and Business Development, R&D or other relevant functions
– Scientific experience in biopharma neuroscience Research and Development with
working knowledge across multiple phases of development (pre-IND, Phase 1-3)
– Proven track record in supporting early-stage programs/project leadership including
project plan generation, timeline management and budget planning.
– Proven track record of running corporate and business development projects, at minimum
exposure to the BD process
– Ability to translate agreements and educate others on contractual provisions (intellectual
property provisions, publication language, long-term obligations, etc.)
– Scientific experience in biopharma Research and Development with working knowledge
of the drug development process across all phases (pre-IND, Phase 1-3)
– Comfortable interacting with senior management via written and verbal communication
– Highest level of confidentiality as information may be sensitive and material for either or
both, Voyager and Partners
