Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Design, prepare, characterize, and evaluate novel lipid-based nanoparticles for mRNA delivery to intended tissues/cells
2. Develop libraries of lipid-based nanoparticles to support pipeline projects
3. Design and execute Design of Experiment (DOE) principles in the formulation development
4. Summarize and present scientific results to the cross-functional teams
5. Write study reports and scientific publications, present in conferences
6. Manage external CROs

Required Skills

1. PhD in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or other related fields plus 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
2. Demonstrated expertise in design and development of lipid nanoparticles & targeted nanoparticles.
3. Experience in analytical characterization of nanoparticles including assay development
4. Experience managing external CROs to support multiple programs
5. Expertise being Formulation/Product Development Lead in cross-functional project teams
