Job Description

Use your life science knowledge, sales and technical skills to acquire new customers from biotech and pharmaceutical companies and academic research institutions. Manage current relationships with exceptional customer service and account management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed the sales plan by maintaining existing business, developing incremental business in existing accounts while also conducting calls to develop new accounts.

  • Work with the manager and sales team on incoming leads.

  • Represent the company at trade shows as both an exhibitor and attendee.

  • Maintain and increase customer database visiting new and potential clients.

  • Research and maintain a strong knowledge of laboratory equipment including new products, applications, and competitive advantages/disadvantages.

Required Skills

  •  BA/BS degree required, preferably in life sciences

  • Previous B2B Sales Experience, preferably selling to academic researchers and to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies

  • Previous experience with bio-molecular instruments preferred

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team
