Position Overview: The Research Technician will play a pivotal role in our ongoing projects, providing support through data collection, analysis, and laboratory management. This role is ideal for someone passionate about biomolecular engineering and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic research environment.

Qualifications:

  • Prospective bachelor’s or master’s graduates seeking immersive research experience before continuing their careers in graduate or medical school.
  • Strong academic background in molecular biology, chemistry, and cell biology
  • Prior laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • The start date is flexible, ideally before September; a minimum commitment of two years is anticipated.
  • We also consider individuals interested in a long-term research technician position.
     

The recruited member can expect to learn diverse laboratory techniques:

  • Molecular cloning, cell culture, protein expression, cellular assays
    Biophysical characterization of protein-protein interactions
    Protein engineering: yeast display, phage display
    Immune cell engineering and characterization
    Fluorescence microscopy
