Job Description

The IT Support Engineer's day involves assisting end-users with technology needs, working on projects, researching solutions, training users, improving documentation, and responding to requests via ticketing or phone support. This is an onsite role with travel between buildings and locations.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting end-users via ticketing, in-person, and phone.
  • Assisting with adopting new technology in a fast-growing setting.
  • Providing high-level support to department heads and Executives.
  • Troubleshooting daily technical issues.
  • Creating and configuring user accounts and equipment.
  • Training on tools and technology.
  • Documenting and maintaining assets and processes.
  • Assisting with office moves and upgrades.

Required Skills

  • Strong soft skills, including communication and relationship-building.
  • 3+ years of IT support experience with Mac & Windows OS.
  • Familiarity with SaaS tools like Microsoft365, SharePoint, and Zoom.
  • Audio & Video Conferencing experience (Teams/Zoom).
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to improve documentation.
  • General understanding of network fundamentals.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or ConnectWise.
  • Experience in Biotechs/Life Sciences.
  • Cloud ID services knowledge (e.g., Okta, Microsoft SSO).
  • Mobile Device Management experience (e.g., Intune).
  • Active Directory/Azure AD familiarity.
  • Public Cloud understanding (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • PowerShell, Scripting & Automation skills.
  • VoIP Support & Management experience.
