Due to our client’s expansive portfolio growth, the Human Resources team is seeking an Internal Recruiter. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Lead Recruiter/Recruiting Manager/ADTA will proactively manage the full life cycle recruitment process, including candidate sourcing and job postings, ensuring a high touch candidate experience through the recruitment cycle.
Our client is an early-stage biotech focused in the therapeutic area of “green chemistry.” Their groundbreaking technology can be used to create regenerative medicine biomolecules that will help heal the human eye, treat rare skin conditions, develop orphan-disease drugs, and far more. The company is entering high-growth mode and managers are very excited to have assistance with staffing!
Location: Hybrid/Medford, MA. The role will ideally function in a hybrid capacity, working 2-3 days/week on site and 2-3 days/week remotely; however, the client is open to applicants who prefer to work 100% remotely.
Transportation: the office is located in Medford off of Route 16& I-93. FREE parking on site. Public transit is accessible via the Green Line.
Title: TA Lead/Recruiting Manager/ADTA, handling full-cycle sourcing and recruiting across functional areas, including Senior Manager and VP roles as well as entry-level positions. Strategic TA work will also be leveraged – leveraging diverse recruiting tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and ensure positive candidate & hiring manager experiences.
ATS/Tools: TBD; they’re exploring ADP for ATS. They use LinkedIn Recruiter. They’re open to guidance and recommendations on additional tools/resources.
Duration: FTE. There is a long term FTE need, but the client will also consider contract/temp-to-perm applicants based on the urgency of their growth.

The primary focus of this role is full cycle recruitment – sourcing and recruiting for roles within all departments. There are currently 16 openings and they particularly need help filling roles at Dir/Sr Dir level. More roles will come at lower level once the next round of funding (Series C) is secured. Examples of current roles: QC Scientist, Sr Manager of Manufacturing, Financial Analyst, Sr Director – Discovery, Biology, Sr Manager – Process Engineering, Sr Manager – Chemist Formulations. Role locations: MA, NC, and Remote.
Partner with the Hiring Managers to complete a detailed job scope to determine position specifications
Devise creative sourcing techniques to deliver a strong candidate pipeline
Screen candidates in order to gauge skill set, interest, salary, and cultural fit
Ensure an exceptional candidate experience for all applicants from the interview stage all the way through to the offer process
Perform other duties as required and assigned
- 5+ years of experience recruiting scientific/manufacturing roles for an early-stage biotech
- Skilled at using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other methods to engage with passive job seekers
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business
- Strong, demonstrated relationship management with internal client teams and leaders
- Comprehensive behavioral based interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Hands-on approach with attention to detail, organization, reliability and a "get it done" attitude
- High-level of focus, persistence, and enthusiasm
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
