Job Description
In this role you will execute programs and support the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and facility systems.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of facilities and process equipment that support Commercial and Clinical manufacturing, Research and Development, and related services.
- Previous experience with GMP systems is required.
- Collaborate with a team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement necessary changes or upgrades to systems and processes.
- Assist in modifying equipment to enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency across site facilities.
- Ensure effective communication with customers, partners, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed of key developments, opportunities, and risks.
- Ensure maintenance work orders are completed promptly.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, emphasizing safety and preventing job-related injuries.
- Adhere to SOPs to improve schedule alignment and maximize equipment uptime.
Required Skills
- High school diploma with 2-4 years of relevant maintenance experience required.
- At least 2 years of experience working in facilities under GMP guidelines is required.
- Knowledge of maintenance practices for equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, HVAC systems, cooling towers, pure steam generators, Water for Injection stills and pumps, autoclaves, heat exchangers, security systems, electrical distribution, fire protection, clean-in-place systems, classified air systems, RODI systems, emergency generators, fume exhaust systems, etc.
- Familiarity with common pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment like liquid filling machines, stoppering machines, capping machines, vial washers, and dehydrogenation ovens.
- Trained in cGMP operations for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing.
- Knowledge of aseptic gowning and cleaning techniques is a plus.
