Job Description

A rapidly growing and leading clinical technology company that operates an AI-powered patient-matching software platform serving the clinical trial industry. The platform allows life sciences and healthcare organizations to speed up trial feasibility, site selection, and patient recruitment by extracting data from electronic medical records (EMRs), which includes structured and unstructured clinical data that capture three times more trial criteria.  Specialized in providing software for patient population analysis, site feasibility and selection, study participant identification, and study participant matching to both site networks.

Responsible for executing a sales strategy that targets life science and contract research organizations.


  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that targets clinical trial and research sites with a focus on patient recruitment in clinical trials.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expansion.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting, demos, and price quoting activities to support your sales goals
  • Document sales activity to measure performance
  • Manage sales data
  • Forecast accurately, taking pride in predicted outcomes.
  • Meet regularly with the executive team to review business development opportunities, strategy, and current market landscape.
  • Work closely with marketing, research services, and product teams to ensure alignment and success.
  • Represent company within the market including conferences, product launches, technology panels, etc.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into our sales strategy build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the life science sectors, including customers, partners, and industry experts

Required Skills

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales roles, with a track record of success in selling software and tech-enabled services to life science firms such as pharma, biotech, med device, and CROs.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong methodology and playbook for building a sales pipeline and closing new business and customer expansion.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of clinical research and development, especially patient recruitment.
  • Organized and rational thinker, who communicates with data, loves metrics and is passionate about rigorous use of Hubspot and other sales-enabling technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Base salary 100-150k/yr flexible depending on experience and level. Highly competitive commission package.
