Job Description

In this role, you will lead the development, planning, execution, and evaluation of clinical studies to ensure scientific integrity and accurate data interpretation. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of Clinical Development.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with clinical operations, biostatistics, pharmacovigilance, and other teams to align on project goals and timelines.
• Providing scientific input to support commercial teams in product positioning and marketing strategies.
• Authoring and reviewing trial documents, including medical monitoring plans, protocols, informed consent, and clinical study reports.
• Contributing to the preparation of regulatory submissions, such as IND applications and clinical study reports.
• Engaging with regulatory authorities as necessary to support clinical development efforts.
• Coordinating with clinical sites and CROs for training and addressing clinical inquiries.
• Leading the monitoring team in reviewing and interpreting clinical data to generate insights that inform decision-making.
• Mentoring junior clinical scientists and study teams, promoting a culture of innovation and scientific rigor.
• Driving initiatives to improve clinical development processes within the organization.
• Preparing and presenting data summaries to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Undertaking additional duties as required.

Required Skills

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MS) in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical science or research.
• At least 3 years of experience in oncology.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing clinical trials, with a solid understanding of regulatory guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in statistical analysis and interpreting clinical data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
