Job Description

  • Client: Tango Therapeutics (https://www.linkedin.com/company/tango-therapeutics/, https://www.tangotx.com/). This is a 70-person company founded in 2017, focused on targeted therapies for cancer. Targeting IPO in 2021 or soon thereafter. In 2022, they’re planning an office move from Cambridge to Boston (Fenway area). 
  • Location: remote (client is based in Cambridge, MA)
  • Hours: 24-32/week (make your own schedule; anticipate a weekly 30-minute call to review candidates with the VPHR and/or hiring managers)
  • Role duration: 12m+; the client plans to outsource TA until 2022, at which point there is temp to perm potential for this consultant
  • Role: Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – Clinical Recruiter. This is full cycle recruiting up to the offer stage, which is then handled by the VPHR. 
  • Types of roles: heavy on clinical, research, and scientific (extensive experience is crucial); strong experience filling G&A roles (especially Finance) are nice to have. 
  • ATS: Greenhouse (newly implemented; experience preferred)
  • Team: this role will be the stand-alone TA contact. Both the VPHR and the HR Manager need a strong and diplomatic TA partner who can guide them and the hiring teams. The VPHR’s experience comes mostly out of commercial pharma. 
  • Support: there is one admin who helps with scheduling

The successful candidate will be a human resource professional with a passion for recruiting and a desire to work in a growing, fast paced environment. Additionally, applicants should have

  • 5+ years of full cycle pharmaceutical recruiting experience
  • Ability to manage 8-12 positions effectively, with high-touch service and strong attention to detail
