Job Description

As a member of the Commercial Supply Chain Team, you will support the establishment and start-up of all local supply chain activities for MorphoSys’s first commercial product launch and ensuring smooth supply post launch.

Responsibilities

  • Support the start-up of third party network for distribution, warehousing and transportation in US
  • Establishment of supply chain procedures to enable product launch and ongoing supply stability in conjunction with cross-functional German HQ team
  • Manage SAP and other relevant systems implementation for supply chain related activities at affiliate
  • Contribution to regulatory procedures and validation concepts related to the supply chain
  • Conduct local Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings involving all key players
  • Contribution to supply planning and forecasting procedures as well as monitoring and maintaining supply forecasts at the affiliate level
  • Responsibility for vendor management, planning, oversight and monitoring of all day-to-day activities at the 3PL
  • Manage freight, warehousing and distribution relationships with all US vendors
  • Interaction with relevant functions within MorphoSys Inc and AG
  • Work closely with team members in EU for all freight and import/export topics

Required Skills

  • Bachelors Degree required; in Life Sciences preferred,  Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain
  • Minimum of five years of experience in commercial supply chain management in the biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with GDP principles and regulatory requirements for cold chain products – proven C-TPAT/AEO experience
  • Experience in managing commercial supply chain requirements of  biopharmaceuticals
  • APICS CSCP certification preferable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and preferably SAP experience
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to drive decisions
  • Ability to anticipate problems and recommend solutions
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Able to travel domestically and abroad
