This role is responsible for ensuring full availability of study materials at clinical trial sites, including single-use devices and patient supplies. Proficiency in clinical inventory management software and ERP systems is required, along with strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure availability of single-use devices by maintaining buffer stocks at clinical sites.
  • Monitor inventory at sites, third-party logistics, and internal stock; direct shipments as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage supplier relationships.
  • Maintain accuracy in inventory databases for financial and regulatory purposes.
  • Prepare required shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments.
  • Establish and report on metrics to senior management.
  • Author or update supply procedures to ensure compliance with GCP guidelines.
  • Participate in project meetings, generating minutes and action items for study supply.
  • Support urgent shipments for field-based teams as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with sites, vendors, and internal teams, maintaining clear and timely updates.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and timely documentation of activities.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field.
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical product supply chain management.
  • Proficiency with ERP and clinical inventory systems; familiarity with Microsoft D365, RSTM, or Zelta is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with field service, clinical operations, and manufacturing teams.
  • Proven ability to manage site-level inventory to ensure availability of investigational products and study supplies.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience liaising with sites, vendors, CROs, and internal teams.
  • Relevant experience in biotech, pharma, or medical devices; related internships or co-ops are a plus.
  • Track record in dynamic, high-growth settings with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
  • Skilled in fast-paced project management and delivering quality results.
  • Hands-on experience and teamwork, especially in small work environments.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
