The Client Manager is responsible for maintaining all aspects of company's current and potential work with assigned clients. The Client Manager assesses all components of work with the client and is accountable for client satisfaction and serves as the primary point of contact on matters relating to project scope of work, timelines, and staffing. The Client Manager is a key contributor in providing deliverables to the client on time and within budget

Responsibilities

  • Communicate regularly with the client and cross-functional teams regarding project progress, goals, timelines, client satisfaction, outstanding issues, any changes in the project, and decisions that may impact the project
  • Analyze RFPs to formulate strategy, develop proposal and budget, prepare for and present at bid defense meetings
  • Facilitate staffing of project including forecasting needs, screening of staff, coordinating meetings with client
  • Provide accurate budget reports which may include projections, estimates and/or actuals; develop clinical budgets and resource plans
  • Assess and explore business expansion opportunities within existing and new client product development programs
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure study progress is on target; identity, escalate and address any significant project issues; training issues, or utilization
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project team members; assist with development of study tools; consult on strategy and interactions
  • Proactively develop and provide solutions for significant or escalated issues

Required Skills

    • Exceptional customer service skills, including cultivating and maintaining close working relationships with both internal and external customers
    • Insightful, decisive, proactive, and solutions-oriented
    • Familiarity with medical and pharmaceutical industry, and related terminology and practices
    • Proven excellence in professional skills including communication, organization, prioritization, presentation, discretion, and accuracy
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to travel approximately 25%
    • Bachelor’s degree or RN, with at least 5 years’ experience in Clinical Research Industry
    • Previous experience in project management, vendor contract management, or business development experience at a Clinical Research Organization preferred
