Job Description

The Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist will autonomously lead research initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in an industrial laboratory environment and be capable of performing various laboratory tasks proficiently.


· Conduct literature reviews · Gather and analyze data · Execute library preparation and sequencing procedures using existing and prototype sequencing platforms as needed · Maintain precise records of data while ensuring the confidentiality of subjects when necessary · Summarize experiments and findings · Facilitate access to all experimental data for team researchers and/or supervisors · Procure necessary equipment or supplies for projects · Manage and respond to project-related correspondence · Prepare additional documents, reports, and presentations · Monitor project reagents and materials · Isolate RNA/DNA from cells or tissues · Conduct PCR, qRT-PCR, or other fundamental molecular biology techniques · Hold at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the biological sciences (or possess experience in biological research) · Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, conduct experiments, analyze data, and deliver results promptly · Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities · Strong attention to detail · Excellent organizational capabilities · Adaptability to a dynamic work environment · Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, preferably in biological sciences, or with equivalent experience in biology research, coupled with over 5 years of industry experience. The ability to collaborate within a team, execute experiments, analyze data, and deliver results promptly is essential. Preference is given to candidates with experience in sterile tissue culture. Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA purification, and quantification methods, is required. Hands-on familiarity with NGS library preparation is advantageous. Experience in cell culture and immunology is also beneficial.
