Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will be part of the in vitro biology group and can thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment. In this position, you will be responsible for mammalian cell culture, in vitro cell based assays like Luciferase assay, cell titer Glo assay, ELISA, western blotting, qPCR, and microscopy. You will be mostly focusing on ELISA, Luciferase assay, RNA isolation and cDNA preparation and qPCR. You will get to apply your innovative mind to our cutting-edge science and work alongside a motivated team.


* Mammalian cell culture, plating and performing cell-based reporter assays. * Perform a variety of in vitro and ex vivo assays, including but not limited to ELISA, qPCR, western blotting, enzymatic assay, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining. * QC our in-house produced RNA and LNP formulation by in vitro testing. * Record experimental detail and update protocols in electronic laboratory notebook. * Supporting and collaborating with other teams to advance preclinical studies with end point analyses as described above. * Collaborate with both biology and chemistry groups to solve technical challenges and answer scientific questions through individual and team-based experiments. * Troubleshoot, optimize in vitro assays, data analysis and interpretation with minimal supervision.  * Presenting data internally in different group meetings and journal clubs. * Contribute to daily laboratory activities (including procurement, organization, and safety).

Required Skills

* B.S/M. S in biological sciences or related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of related molecular biology and in vitro assays experience in industry. * Proficient in mammalian cell culture with extensive experience in cell-based luminescent and fluorescent reporter assay. * Hands-on experience with ELISA, qPCR., western blotting, enzymatic assays, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence staining * Ability of execute sample handling and analysis with strict adherence to laboratory methods and SOPs. * Draft SOPs, follow protocols diligently document experimental data in lab notebooks, be organized and maintain detailed experimental data in ELN. * Highly organized and detail orientated. Able to participate in multiple studies and meet project deadlines. * Strong written and oral communication skills, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-pasted environment. * Ability to approach complex problems creatively and develop innovative solutions.
