Job Description

Silicon Therapeutics is looking for an Administrative  Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer in a contract to hire capacity. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and will work closely with the Executive Assistant and Administrative Assistant for HR and Platform as well as cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including the offices of other LeadershipTeam members. This role requires the ability to prioritize projects in a fast paced environment, think on your feet, and anticipate needs.   • Provide administrative support to the CEO.

  • Manage calendar and handle scheduling requests, coordinate travel plans, and manage travel bookings.

  • Organize and coordinate key multi-functional meetings, including preparing materials such as reports, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets and other documents/materials as needed.

  • Regularly handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion.

  • Streamline administrative processes, including but not limited to travel planning, expense management, purchase orders, contract needs, and scheduling.

  • Arrange catering and logistics for company meetings and events.

  • Maintain office supplies and other inventories.

  • Provide ancillary support to other Administrative and Executive assistants in the office as necessary.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 1 year of professional work experience and/or internships.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in a Life Sciences company (biotech, pharma, diagnostics or medical device) is helpful but not necessary.

  • Capable of professionally representing the company, exercising judgment and discretion with confidential matters and in responding to mail, telephone, electronic, and in-person inquiries in a timely fashion.

  • Able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
